My film career began at the age of 16, working the projector at a small art house theater in the suburbs of Boston. After graduating from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I worked my way up from film loader to focus puller to cinematographer on a variety of commercials, feature films, and documentaries. Aiding such award winning filmmakers as Alex Gibney and Michael Apted, I learned the craft of documentary filmmaking from the very best.
